The route optimisation uses various elements of geo-spatial data that are collected as you create routes, add delivery points etc. we use external mapping services to provide an accurate and comprehensive turn-by-turn route that ensures the area is sufficiently covered.

Absolutely, yes! Tracking is our base level plan, which allows you to create unlimited Santa's and provide tracking data from our native Android and iOS apps. You must create a route area, but you do not need to create route plans for basic tracking to function.
